The Emergency Operations Center can communicate through the RapidAssist Emergency Command Center web app and via SMS to individuals using a chat feature and bulk messaging. People can be instructed to evacuate to designated secure areas and to stay away from areas where there are incidents.
The Emergency Operations Center can see on a map the people that are close to each other during an emergency, and instruct people who are capable to provide assistance to people that need help while waiting for emergency services to arrive.
The Emergency Operations Center can continuously communicate with people throughout the emergency, and notify all people when the emergency is over.
Use RapidAssist to request to the status of a user during an emergency.
The Emergency Operations Center will initiate an emergency in the RapidAssist Emergency Command Center web app by selecting a group of users or by the geographic area that the emergency is located in.
Once the RapidAssist emergency is initiated, users will be immediately notified that an emergency is in progress.
Depending on their location, and the situation, a user can be requested to respond with their status “I’m Okay” or “I Need Help”.

The Emergency Operations Center can view the location of the user and where they have travelled during the emergency.
The ability to track users during emergency drills proves very useful for evaluating how people should evacuate during an emergency. This can provide an organization with better training schemes for drills with their employees.
